Steve Job’s philosophy is really simple, to him, everything happens in three’s. Just like the iPod and the Mac OS X user interface, a person must be able to find the music he or she is looking for in 3 simple steps, anything more than that is a bad design. Which is true, have you ever tried an iPod? To be honest, I don’t own one but I did toy with it and it took me exactly 3 steps via the dial to find what I am looking for. As for other music players such as Sony, Philips and more, it is simply confusing.
To understand his genius, his philosophy in making Apple Inc one of the greatest company of all time, a company that literally change the computer industry (User Interface), the music industry (Online music and iPod), the animation industry (Pixar) and more all with a single product, you got to read iCon: Steve Jobs, The Greatest Second Act in the History of Business.
