I’ve been doing some thinking lately; I’ve concluded that the world is a better place because of the imperfection. It was entertaining; don’t get me wrong, I am not implying that natural disasters, wars, mass genocide and all the evil stuff are good, they are simply part and puzzle of a perfect world.

For instant, imagine watching American Idol and the judges so happened to be extremely nice, no Simon Cowell and his harsh comments. Every participant sang beautifully, some are better than the other but on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being perfect; everyone scored 8, 9 and 10. Same goes for looks; everyone is handsome and amazingly attractive. Since this is a perfect world, nobody acted foolishly, no broken records and no William Hung. Imagine that, how boring can that be?

Where are the excitements? The adventures? Because this is a perfect world, there are no accidents, no robberies, no death, no hunger and all the evil stuff. That’s pretty much like heaven as we have imagined, in other words, heaven is a boring place.

But that’s not all, due to the fact that this is a perfect world, everyone is happy with their life, there would be no desire to outdo each other, no desire to find a better solution because as we know this is the perfect world, it can never be better or worst.

Don’t laugh at the fat cat, don’t smirk either, for you lived in a perfect world, there is no such thing as obesity.

In short, there can never be a perfect world. Imperfection sharpens our minds through bad experience, and allows our imagination to see the possible from many different angles and lenses. It is the imperfections in our lives that make this world perfect.
