Malaysia University of Copy, Paste and Translate

I am beginning to agree with some of the people I’ve met over the years on the quality of our local university graduates – they can’t think out of the box, hold on, let me rephrase that – they don’t think at all! Look around you, how many successful local university graduates are there? Even college students with non existence facilities in their college managed to outperform them in almost every field. Could it possibly be the English language and foreign syllabus used in local colleges?

I do understand one of the reason being the spoon feeding system introduced by our beloved government, thus causing them to think (or not to think) in a creative way. Thinking aloud is a crime! I don’t want to go about bashing all local university graduates as if I am a bright student during my university years, to be honest; I am below average, an average Joe! However, I have come to understand that our local graduates do not even possess an IQ of an 11 years old kid of any first world country. At least these kids can articulate their original ideas constructively; heck I bet they even have a higher IQ than most of our top students from our local university graduates.

When I say local university graduates are like zombies, I mean it! If I were to brief them on how to solve a problem, they would go about using the same technique over and over again without coming up with a better alternative.

Completing their assignments is all about translating something from English to the Malay language, or to rephrase it without knowing the actual purpose of the assignment – to think differently! What do they teach them in Malaysia’s local university? The copy, paste and translate system?

Something is seriously wrong with our Malaysian university, thinking is a crime, and thinking aloud is seditious! If money is not an issue, sending your kids to any local college in Malaysia is a better choice that any of our local universities, that include TAR College and some of the smaller colleges, even the polytechnic in Singapore appears to be a better choice! The last thing we need is a nation filled with non thinking zombie people.

P.S. We need a new government!

That is so true that people with thought like you always below average. It is not about the place and environment you are in but is all about yourself to learn. Hope you can learn more and learn to win the situation but not let them over you. Be mature, hopefully you can take up an IQ test with the so-called 1st world country. Don’t be shame of being a Malaysian because we are shame to have you to be our citizen.

If it is not about the environment, why do u think the rich send their kids to overseas? or to private schools? It is like a big puzzle, each piece has its role. Albert Einstein will never be the smartest man on earth if he was born in some chaotic country, it is the environment that shapes him, the things he experienced within the environment that shapes his thoughts and believes.
